San Francisco’s Prius Specialists Since 2007

I have been taking my 2008 Toyota Prius with over 210,000 miles to Earthling Automotive (formerly Luscious Garage) for about three years now. I started going there after my catalytic converter was stolen for the second time (with a guard on!). Earthling put an extra special guard/cover on and I’ve not had a problem since! Highly recommended!

I've been coming to this place for almost 20 years to service my 2004 Prius. The folks working there are consistently helpful. They used to be called Luscious Garage. Their new incarnation as Earthling Automotive on Bayshore is a great step forward. Giant, clean shop; comfortable waiting area. They have a new focus, appropriately, on electric vehicles. I'm considering one of those, and would certainly take it to Earthling for service.

I've been bringing my car here for the last several years and it's even more convenient now that it's in Bernal Heights for the past few. Honest, no overselling, they really love their Priuses (and all cars, from what I've seen and heard), and they have a super comfortable waiting area with Wi-Fi and tea and coffee. I also had one of the most interesting conversations of my life with another customer waiting for his car. Nice moment of community.

I've been taking my high-mileage Prius here for many years. They've always given me honest quotes for only necessary services (unlike the dealership). Their experience with high-mileage cars has been very useful to me as they have given me lots of helpful tips to keep my car running forever, like how it needs a bit of extra attention to oil levels.

I took my Prius in because the dealership wanted to replace the shocks on my car because they said they were leaking. I didn't think it was necessary, so I took it over to Earthling. They performed a complimentary service, found nothing wrong with my Prius. They even sent pictures of the involved area, clearly no leaks and nothing wrong with them.

Definitely taking it back to Earthling on my next service!

I had the pleasure of working with Michael H. He was super knowledgeable and had great customer service skills. Never once did I feel like I was being taking advantage of. These guys are pros and look after your best interest. This is the only shop I trust with my Prius-V and Tesla. They work on gas cars too, but they for sure are experts in Hybrids and Electric cars. Best shop in the city, IMO. Will definitely be coming back.

Today, I had my 75,000 mile maintenance done on my Prius at their new location on Bayshore by Lowe's. There was no up-marketing or bait-and-switch sleight-of-hand. And while the car was being worked on, I was able to do some plant shopping at Flowercraft and Lowe's. I also had the choice of hanging out in their comfortable lobby. Highly recommend Earthling!

What a refreshing repair experience. Professional, courteous, easy to connect and be informed -- online, by email, text and especially nice, by promptly answered phone. Bright, really helpful and knowledgeable service reps.

My wife was very apprehensive before going there. But we discovered that the Earthling reception area and facilities are new, clean and welcoming.

Of course, importantly, the repair to our Prius worked, and was completed in far less time than other shops quoted. It also was very reasonable and finished on time and exactly as estimated (in writing).

First time using Earthling for Prius maintenance since they rebranded from Luscious. Same great service and transparency on all findings / recommendations. When arriving, however, be sure to approach using the northbound lane of Bayshore so you can turn directly into their lot. GPS routed me to the auto shop next door (Rolling Stock) - due to the multiple highway entrances/exits in area, it's a very circuitous route driving back to Earthling. That said, Earthling was generous enough to get my car from Rolling Stock's lot.

This place is amazing. Great communication. Explained what was wrong and answered all my questions. Waiting area is very clean and well kept and the garage itself was very clean! I had my Prius battery replaced for a great price and was ready very quick. Would highly recommend.

We took our previous hybrid to Lucious for years and we are very glad the business has grown and expanded with Earthling! Excellent service and communication from their staff. Happy to continue as customers with our new EV and hybrid.
